This is a "seconds" sale product, which means that the item doesn't meet our aesthetic standard for regular retail sale. These scissors are a great option for you if scissors are your workhorses or you don't mind their one-of-a-kind look! Seconds sale products usually have a scuff(s) or scratch(es) and/or other aesthetic issues on the surface of the product. The quality of the tool is otherwise unaffected and works perfectly.
All seconds sale products are covered by our 10-year warranty. All seconds sale products are FINAL SALE.
A beautiful addition to your tool collection, our stunning Prism Shears have become an iconic favourite!
Our Prism Shears are handcrafted from industrial stainless steel, and are based on the design and engineering of our some of our bestselling scissors.
These scissors go through a process called electroplating, which fuses a metal coating on the scissors and creates the prism colour effect; every pair of scissors has the inside of the blade manually covered so they are not coated. This ensures that the scissors are perfectly aligned and improves the sharpness of the blade.
For use with light- to medium-weight fabric. Great for general sewing, quilting, and fibre arts.
*This pair of shears is right-handed.*
Unsure Which Fabric Scissor To Choose?
You can click here for two simple quizzes that we created to help you choose!
What Does The Size Mean?
The measurement you see - such as 8" - is the entire length of the scissor, including the handle.
How Long Will The Scissors Stay Sharp?
It really depends on how often you use the scissors, what items you’re cutting and how well you take care of your scissors. When tested in the rigors of professional sewing studios, our scissors outperformed brands in the same price tier.
What Is The Manufacturer's Warranty?
We offer a 10 year manufacturer's warranty on all of our products. For more info, click here.
Why Are My Scissors Greasy?
This is because we use a coating of oil to prevent any rust from developing during the shipping process. You can simply wipe it off before using the scissors. However, we do recommend that you apply a thin layer of oil - such as anti-rust, sewing machine oil, or any neutral oil - on the blades and button with a cloth when not in use.
