Social Impact

Since 2021, LDH Scissors has been donating a portion of our online retail sales to Women’s Shelters Canada (@endvawnetwork). Women’s Shelters Canada is a network of 14 provincial and territorial shelter networks representing more than 400 shelters across Canada.

Their initiative, ShelterSafe.ca, is an online resource that helps women and their children seeking safety from violence and abuse. It allows them to quickly identify a shelter in their area, along with its 24-hour emergency phone number.

We want to thank everyone who has placed an order with us this year, as well as everyone who chooses to support us in the future. Every purchase helps us continue supporting Women’s Shelters Canada — your support truly makes a difference.

Starting in 2026, we are also committed to donating a portion of the online retail sales from our Bloom Series products to Ecojustice. Ecojustice is a non-profit organization that uses litigation to defend and protect the environment.

Through the Bloom Series, we hope to extend our commitment to making a positive impact - not only through the products we create, but also through the causes we support.
