Enjoy our free sharpening service to keep your LDH scissors in top-notch condition!
Please submit one sharpening request per pair of shears. For multiple pairs, a separate request is required for each. The shipping fee at checkout covers the cost of returning your scissors to you. After checkout, one of our representatives will reach out with the next steps.
Please note:
- We only sharpen our own brand of scissors.
- Customers are responsible for shipping costs to and from our warehouse and for securely packaging their scissors to prevent damage during transit.
- It is not possible to restore the appearance of the scissors during this process; while being sharpened, the appearance of the blades may change.
- Scissor sharpening does not include scissor repair. Scissors that are excessively damaged may be returned.

The current turnaround time for sharpening is 1-3 weeks plus shipping. Please note that if you order our sharpening service with other products, your entire order will be shipped together when your scissors are done being sharpened.
Depending on what kinds of fabric you are cutting, the frequency you are using them, or the kind of craft you are using them for, our scissors won't dull quickly when performing simple sewing tasks or are being used for only one kind of fabric (i.e. natural or synthetic fabrics). If the time ever comes when you do find that your scissors are starting to become dull, you can send them to us to get them back to tip-top shape!
