Introducing our latest collection: the Bloom Series. Designed to be both versatile and heavy-duty, these fabric scissors are ideal for a wide range of everyday projects. They feature a blunted tip for added safety, include a protective cap for secure storage, and are crafted with handles made from recycled plastic. Each pair is finished with a unique flower engraving and is a reflection of one of our values, both as a business and as individuals.

The green colourway is inspired by Canadian milkvetch (Astragalus canadensis), a plant that blends quietly into its surroundings, with clusters of flowers that reward a closer look. In many ways, it mirrors how we think about scissors themselves, an essential tool that often goes unnoticed, yet plays a critical role in the making process and the environment.

The blades are crafted from industrial stainless steel and paired with lightweight, durable handles made from recycled plastic. Each pair is finished with a unique flower engraving—a subtle reflection of one of our values as a business and as individuals.

The blades are designed to have blunted tips and have a safety cap to prevent any accidents. The included safety cap also reduces the chance of the blades breaking or chipping if they are dropped.

The measurement you see - such as 8" - is the entire length of the scissor, including the handle.

It depends on how often you use the scissors, what kind of material you’re cutting, and how well you take care of your scissors. When tested in the rigors of professional sewing studios, our scissors outperformed other brands in the same price tier.

Please note that all scissors will need to be sharpened at some point and that dullness is not considered a defect.

This is because we use put coating of oil on the blades to prevent any rust from developing during the shipping process. Please wipe off the oil before using the scissors. However, we do recommend that you apply a thin layer of oil - such as anti-rust, sewing machine oil, or any neutral oil - on the blades and button with a cloth when not in use. 

We provide a couple of different rates of shipping. Please note that shipping rates are determined and limited by your address and the weight of your order. Some shipping rates may not be available to you, depending on your address.
