Our One-Piece Thread Snips are based on the design of the oldest scissors in the world: sheep shears! They're lightweight, versatile, and easy to use, and you won't ever have to worry about losing a screw. They are great for knitting, crochet, trimming thread, embroidery, lightweight fabric trimming.

Most thread snips are made with screws and moving parts; our one-piece design eliminates the chances of any screws or parts becoming lost or broken!

They're our most lightweight snip, and their ergonomic design makes cutting quick and easy.

We recommend using them with yarn, thread, and very lightweight fabric. They are great for knitters, crocheters, embroiderers, sewists, and quilters.

Wipe down the blades and lubricate with oil once a month.

The measurement you see - such as 8" - is the entire length of the scissor, including the handle.

It depends on how often you use the scissors, what kind of material you’re cutting, and how well you take care of your scissors. When tested in the rigors of professional sewing studios, our scissors outperformed other brands in the same price tier.

Please note that all scissors will need to be sharpened at some point and that dullness is not considered a defect.

We offer a 10 year warranty on all of our products. For more info, click here.

This is because we use put coating of oil on the blades to prevent any rust from developing during the shipping process. Please wipe off the oil before using the scissors. However, we do recommend that you apply a thin layer of oil - such as anti-rust, sewing machine oil, or any neutral oil - on the blades and button with a cloth when not in use.

Beautiful product

I bought 3!

I sew with vintage sewing machines, so I bought a pair of snips for each cabinet and a spare for those machines without cabinets. I'm not disappointed that I have them.
Lightweight, easy to use and fits nicely in my hand.

Thread snips

they may be little but they are a big hit in my sewing room. Nice and light, easy for arthritic hands to use and vert sharp and to the point.

Smooth snips

I love this style of snip and ordered as soon as I saw how they were made. The one piece design delivers a smooth, sharp snip, perfect for thread tails. I also love the satisfying clunk sound they make when dropped onto the work surface. Highly recommend!

These thread snips have put a huge smile on my face! They never leave the side of my machine. Very sharp and easy to use! I absolutely love them.
