Our Soft Handled Craft Scissors feature large, ambidextrous handles made from recycled (and recyclable!) rubberized plastic. The handles are soft to the touch, lightweight, and malleable. They were originally designed and inspired by a sewing studio in Toronto, Canada that specializes in teaching children.
Material
The blades are made from industrial stainless steel and come with a safety cap. These scissors are versatile and can be used on fabric, paper, and yarn, and are great for small, detailed work.
Design
The scissors are designed with safety in mind, protecting wandering fingers in sewing bags or kits from being nicked; the included safety cap also reduces the chance of the blades breaking or chipping if they are dropped. They measure 6.5" from the tip of the blade to the bottom of the handle.
Recommended Use
They're great to use with knitting, crochet, macrame, weaving, embroidery, and light to heavyweight fabric trimming.
*This pair of shears is right-handed but has ambidextrous handles.*

What Does The Size Mean?
The measurement you see - such as 8" - is the entire length of the scissor, including the handle.
How Long Will The Scissors Stay Sharp?
It really depends on how often you use the scissors, what items you’re cutting and how well you take care of your scissors. When tested in the rigors of professional sewing studios, our scissors outperformed brands in the same price tier.
What Is The Manufacturer's Warranty?
We offer a 10 year manufacturer's warranty on all of our products. For more info, click here.
Why Are My Scissors Greasy?
This is because we use a coating of oil to prevent any rust from developing during the shipping process. You can simply wipe it off before using the scissors. However, we do recommend that you apply a thin layer of oil - such as anti-rust, sewing machine oil, or any neutral oil - on the blades and button with a cloth when not in use.
