Virtual Make & Take - Meet Your Makers!
5 Makers, 5 Projects, 5 Days.
In light of #StayHome and wanting to provide some positivity, distraction, and to kick-start some creative juices, we've partnered with 5 Makers in 5 different industries to encourage you to learn something new and cool while staying at home!
We hope that these workshops will serve as both educational and therapeutic! So, gather your materials, and tune in at 7 pm EST on our Instagram story on the dates below!

Meet your Makers below and the date they'll be holding their workshop.
Kim will be hosting her workshop on Saturday, March 28th, from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm EST, and will be showing you how to quilt a Cathedral Window Pincushion!
Materials needed:
- 10.5" square of fabric (for the main body of pin cushion)
- 7" square of fabric (for backing)
- 4.25" square of fabric (optional)
- 1 - 4 pieces of scrap fabric for side decoration
- 9" square piece of paper (to serve as a template)
- Fabric scissors (Recommended: 8" Fabric Shears)
- Pins
- Stuffing
- Iron
- Sewing Machine (this project can be hand-sewn)

Brittani will be hosting her workshop on Wednesday, April 1st, from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm EST, and will be showing you how to make a Reusable Utensil Roll! This scrap-buster pattern is available for free on Brittani's website UntitledThoughts.com.
Materials needed:
- 1/2 - 3/4 yards (0.4m - 0.6m) of 44" fabric
- Fabric scissors
- Rotary cutter OR paper scissors (Recommended: Midnight Edition Rotary Cutter)
- Thread
- Sewing Machine (this project can be hand-sewn)
Meagan will be hosting her workshop on Saturday, April 4th, from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm EST, and will be showing you how to Needle Felt a Plant!
Materials needed:
- 10 x 7" Felting Foam Block (or thick, clean sponge)
- Felting needle (fine or medium)
- Green wool roving
- Fabric scissors (Recommended: 8" Fabric Shears)
- Pink cheek blush or soft pastel (optional)
- Iron or Flatiron (optional)

Emily will be hosting her workshop on Wednesday, April 8th, from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm EST, and will be showing you how to make a Fabric Banner!
Materials needed:
- Fabric of any kind (the size depends on how big you want your banner to be)
- Various scraps & pieces of fabric for lettering
- Scissors (Recommended: 8" Fabric Shears)
- Thread
- Sewing Machine (this project can be hand sewn) OR glue
- Grommets or dowel for hanging (optional)

Materials needed:
- 30m of rope (or yarn, or strips of fabric)
- Fabric scissors (Recommended: 8" Fabric Shears)
- Masking Tape
- A wood or metal ring for hanging (optional)
